Save Staff Time

Save staff time with catering tendering and evaluation.

Your staff have a lot to do. By handling the entire catering tendering process, we have saved schools 1000’s of hours so you can spend more time focusing on your students.

Preparing Your Tender

We understand that no two schools are the same. Catering needs differ significantly; it’s our job to identify your unique requirements as a school or trust, before creating a tender that reflects your values and needs.

Once we understand your requirements, we’ll draft detailed tender documents (request for proposal – (RFP), invitation to tender – (ITT), etc.) that outline specifications, evaluation criteria, timelines and terms and conditions.

From there, it’s time for action.

We manage the process from start to finish, beginning with understanding your school’s unique requirements (including meal quality, dietary needs, free school meal numbers, service frequency and budget) before drafting detailed tender documents and engaging potential suppliers.

We produce all the necessary documentation, including a Request for Proposal (RFP) and Invitation to Tender (ITT), setting out your specifications, evaluation criteria, timelines and terms and conditions.

Once tenders are submitted, we carry out thorough bid evaluation, followed by negotiation and clarification with shortlisted suppliers. We leverage our existing supplier relationships and market knowledge to make sure you’re getting the best possible deal before any contract is awarded.

We support you through contract award and finalisation, as well as the implementation phase, making sure the transition to your new catering provider is smooth. We also carry out a post-tender review to ensure everything is working as intended.

Yes. Whether you’re procuring catering for a single school or across multiple sites within a MAT, we adapt our process to reflect your scale and organisational structure.
